Your care at Brightside is a team effort.

Our collaborative approach combines physiotherapy and kinesiology to  keep you progressing and confident in every step. Here's how it works:

01

Creating A Treatment Plan

Every new treatment plan at Brightside begins with an initial assessment. In this first session, your physiotherapist will review your history, perform a thorough assessment, and develop a custom treatment plan based on your individualized goals. You'll also receive your first treatment.

02

Hands-On Physiotherapy Treatments

All initial treatment plans include at least 2* follow-up treatments with your physiotherapist. These sessions are focused on reducing pain, improving mobility, and addressing any functional limitations.

* Knee & hip replacements are booked for the number of follow-ups recommended by the health authority.

03

Initial Progress Review

After your initial treatment plan is complete, your physio will review your progress and recommend next steps whether that's graduation, a group program, or a subsequent treatment plan.

04

Subsequent Treatment plans

In subsequent treatment plans, you'll work with a kinesiologist between visits with your physiotherapist. These sessions help ensure correct technique, provide manual therapy as needed, and help you stay on track with your treatment plan. Your physiotherapist will regularly review your progress and adjust your plan as needed

05

Group Programs

When you're ready to move beyond a 1:1 treatment plan, your physiotherapist will may recommend a continued strengthening program. We offer a variety of small group fitness programs to keep you moving and improving under the guidance of our kinesiology team. Check out the details below!
